Pelican Pointe Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation - We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager/Business Office/Staffing Coordinator to ensure that all human resources (HR) and Business office operations are carried on smoothly and effectively.
You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.
An HR Manager must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments.
You should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.
The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.
Responsibilities Include;Payroll and Time ClockRecruitment, hiring, and orientationEmployee RelationsFMLAMedical RecordsStaffing SchedulesRecruiting Nurses/CNAsUnemploymentWorker's CompensationDisabilityIncidentsSkillsNursing Home Experienced is required.
Full understanding of the way a Nursing home operates to meet its objectivesExcellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulationsThorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practicesExcellent organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsDiligent and firm with high ethical standardsBSc/BA in human resources, business administration, or relevant field;The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for:
Scheduling staff to meet the needs of the FacilityChecking in with staff daily and being available to deal with their concernsManaging and collecting information concerning usage, retention, and terminationPrint out and update daily staffing schedules.
Contact and communicate with management and department directorsAssist in the recruitment and hiring of nurses and nurses aide.
Updating Staffing on The DOH website and posting promptlyPayrollManaging the time and attendance of the staffPosition Requirements:
Prior healthcare or hospital staffing experience or significant customer service experienceProficient in data entryExcellent communication2 years of Long Term Care Staffing Experience needed About the Company:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
